cozycorner.4mg.com

The Cozy Corner web-site is up and running. I am very excited about this as I am sure you will be. I have made this site to let people know about my Family Child Care Home and also so that your friends and families can see where your children are spending their day. Please let me know if there are any changes you think need to be made or if you would like anything added. The address is www.cozycorner.4mg.com. Enjoy!

Flight Line Field Trip

The 37th Airlift Squadron is giving us an opportunity to take the children to see a C-130 airplane. We will be permitted to get on the plane and look around as well as see the outside. We will be going on 25 Jan 01 at 9:15am. How exciting!

EDIS Evaluation

I will be sending out a permission slip for children ages 0-3. The permission slips are from the local Early Intervention Program at Landstuhl. The permission slip allows EDIS to send home with the child an evaluation screening for you to fill out. The evaluations are free and just a service provided for the community and are in no means being used to label any child. This is completely voluntary. Please fill out the permission slip whether or not you would like the evaluation for bookkeeping purposes.

Child’s Information

Please ensure that you keep your child’s information and phone numbers up-to-date. You can check with me periodically to make sure your child’s file is accurate. We don’t want to be in a situation and not have the correct phone numbers!.

Did you Know?

Did you know that there is a New Parent Support Program? The New Parent Support Program is a team of professionals who provide educational and supportive services to Air Force Families. They provide the opportunity for parents of young children to learn new skills and improve old ones. Parents of children ages 0-3 are eligible. Even if you’ve been raising your family for a few years, new ages and stages bring different challenges. The N PSP Services provide

  • classes

  • phone consults

  • coordination of services

  • information and referral

  • book and video lending library

  • home visits, based on family need

Reminder

*********

Please do not let your child bring toys from home. This is something that I strictly enforce and it will make things much easier on the children. Pretty soon I will have a full load and would like things to run as smoothly as possible. An occasional video is acceptable.

Also, I would like to remind you to please adhere to your scheduled arrival and departure times as much as possible. Also please remember to try and be brief with arrival and departure times. My attention needs to stay focused on the children still in my care.
